Task Force: Major Fire
Case
A major fire at a vehicle interiors production facility led to a disruption in the supply chain of 12 different product variants. The damage exceeded €50 million, completely halting serial production. Several German OEMs were affected, requiring a swift and effective response to ensure supply chain continuity and damage regulation.
Ramp-up and delivery assurance for panoramic roofs
Case
The supply of panoramic roofs to a major automotive customer was at significant risk. Deliveries could only be ensured in small quantities through special transport (SoFa). The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) was well below 85%, and there was a shortage of trained staff, coupled with high turnover rates.
Logistics concept for a fully automated series production
Case
The task was to develop a comprehensive logistics concept for the fully automated series production of solid-state flow energy storage systems. Limited space posed a significant challenge, particularly in ensuring line supply, production, final assembly, and storage.
Relocation of a Production Facility

The production was spread over multiple floors, leading to space constraints and long transport routes. Additionally, around 5,000 pallets were outsourced, necessitating daily transportation.
Optimizing the Project Management System

The existing project management system lacked a consistent structure in the workflow organization. The PM process was only superficially outlined, with no regular communication within the project management team. Additionally, higher-level systems were not integrated into the process.
Customer Project Management
Case
At the start of the project, the company was facing the absence of a functioning project management system (PMS). Around 80% of customer projects were behind schedule, and there was a lack of structured, regular communication regarding project status within the organization. These shortcomings led to inefficient project handling, negatively impacting the entire production and development process.
