A major fire at a vehicle interior production facility disrupted the supply chain for 3 OEMs across 12 different product variants. The damage amounted to a high double-digit million-euro loss, causing a complete halt in serial production. Several German OEMs were affected, necessitating a swift and efficient response to secure supply chains and manage damage regulation effectively.

• Equipment Recovery: Successfully restored 9 injection molding machines and over 50 customer-specific molding tools, enabling a rapid return to full production capacity.

• OEM Task Force Collaboration: Maintained daily coordination and reporting with OEM Task Force Managers to align efforts and ensure transparent communication throughout the recovery process.

Achievements:

• Interim supply of most customer needs via air bridges within one week

• 100% restoration of customer deliveries with serial production tools after only four months

• Complete settlement of insurance claims
